The southwest has always inspired me to paint landscapes. In my memories of the places I've observed, there is always an undeniably strong emotion attached to the experience of place that remains long after the visit.

This was a piece I painted several years ago in the mountains near Taos, NM. I recently found it in the studio and polished it up a bit. Some days, it is nice to spend time reflecting about my process and where I am heading.
